Just 10 minutes west of Downtown Halifax, the West End is known for it’s eclectic mix of the young and young at heart, Quinpool Road, the Armdale Area, and its mix of rural and urban vibes within one diverse region.

The North End is a trendy area known for its hipster vibes, up and coming restaurant scene, boutique and second hand shops, colourful houses and lively nightlife – it’s a place that piques curiosity. 

Known by locals as the “City of Lakes”, Dartmouth also has fantastic outdoor parks intertwined through its dozens of lakes. Just 5 minutes past Dartmouth is Cole Harbour, a suburban community best known for being the birthplace of Sidney Crosby, famous hockey player and 3-time Stanley Cup Winner.

Bedford, which sits on the edge of the stunning Bedford Basin, offers brilliant views of the Halifax Harbour from lively DeWolf Park. Sackville and its surrounding communities such as Beaver Bank and Kinsack, have some fantastic outdoor and sporting areas worth exploring!

Halifax’s Eastern Shore is made up of many unique coastal communities and working fishing villages. It is known for its scenic natural environment, plentiful opportunities for outdoor adventure and excellent bird watching.

The Musquodoboit Valley has hidden gems waiting to be discovered and is predominately known for its outdoor adventure of cycling, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking and camping.

The Peggy’s Cove Coastal Region is where you go to relax in nature, with its scenic drives, famous lighthouses, coastal beaches and delicious seafood. All of this on top of with picturesque hikes, historic sites and unique attractions. This is where you go to experience the spirit of the Maritimes.

Just 30 minutes outside of downtown Halifax is the Halifax Airport Area, home to the Halifax Stanfield International Airport and its charming surrounding communities.
